After the last couple of years, it finally feels like fun and fashion are back in the spotlight for hair trends. 

For Fall 2022 hair care, we find clients are ready to get out of their pj’s and comfort zones hair-wise but are still loving easy to use, versatile products while maintaining their steadfast desire for effective organic and natural ingredients. 

The marketplace trend of ingredients needing to be aligned with healthy living habits continues.  We see this all come together in Fall 2022’s hottest hair trends ranging from an edgy haircut, fiery color, and runway-esque ponytails.

The Mixie

Longer hairstyles have been a dominant trend especially after the era of social distancing and are still very popular today.  But perhaps spurred on by overgrown pandemic born length, a new trend is emerging with many celebrities and now clients cutting their long locks into today’s “it” cut, the edgy, high fashion Mixie.
 
The perfect blend of the 1960’s Pixie, 70’s Shag, and 80’s Mullet, the Mixie is short in the front and longer and choppier in the back, worn blown out smooth or with a soft textured wave. Setting this trend is Spanish actress/model Ursula Corbero, actress Zendaya, singer Demi Lovato, actress Florence Pugh, and of course here at Philip Pelusi.

Shapeshifting Ponytails
